We renovated a 70+ year-old vacant church building and turned it into a beautiful market full of unique home goods, desserts, gourmet meals, seasonal veggies and Cammie's Old Dutch Ice Cream. The building sits on the highest point in our town, so the name On the Hill Garden and Market describes it perfectly.

OTH shares a driveway with the longest running businesses in Grove Hill, Gates Motor Service (1951-2022). When you drive by the old station, you feel like you’ve gone back in time. We wanted to keep with our neighbor’s vintage charm. We refinished the original hardwood floors and added two 1889 counters from Coleman Bros store (1889-1962) in Whatley, Alabama. We also added wood merchandise cases from SC Gordon Dry Goods (1915-1965). Outside you'll find the greenhouse and garden accessories. The greenhouse really shows out in the Spring when its packed with gorgeous flowers and plants.

If you're ever in our neck of the woods you've got to stop by.

We believe you're going to love this place. Hope to see you soon !
